Water Environment & Technology (WE&T) is the premier magazine for the water quality field and the flagship publication of the Water Environment Federation.
In response to reader feedback and as part of our ongoing effort to deliver content in the formats our audience increasingly prefers while advancing our sustainability goals, beginning in 2027, WE&T will print eight (8) issues instead of twelve (12). In addition, we are working hard to develop a digital destination for our year-round coverage of the water sector’s latest news, with more details forthcoming.
WE&T editors always welcome article ideas. In addition to technical features, WE&T includes departments such as Member Spotlight, Water Advocates, Operator Essentials, and more. Email your ideas to magazine@wef.org.magazine@wef.org with ideas and questions.

Display Advertising Rates for WE&T
Frequency is based on the number of display ad insertions placed during a 12-month contract period dating from the first insertion. A $250 fee applies to advertorial materials not supplied within required specifications.

Production Requirements
· Submit ads in CMYK, RGB ads or artwork are not accepted
· Graphics must be 300 dpi at 100% or vector based
· Do not use system or composite fonts
· Do not include information beyond the border unless the ad is full page with bleed
· For bleed ads, crop marks must be outside the bleed marks
· Submitted file dimensions must equal the purchase ad space
· Unacceptable: Corel, Draw, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
· Preferred: press-optimized PDF/X-1 a with industry-standard fonts embedded; TIF/JPG not recommended
Submission
· Email subject must include publication name, issue, and advertiser name
· Email compressed files no larger than 50 MB to admaterials@wef.org
· SITX files are not accepted
· For files too large to email, contact Kristen Martin at kmartin@wef.org for an Online Upload System link
· Contact the publisher for preprinted insert rates and specifications
